Elizabeth Adewale, LMFT
My name is Elizabeth Adewale. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a specialization in sex therapy. I graduated from Jefferson University in 2019 and started practicing in 2020. I am currently pursuing my MDiv at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
I have been trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities; I particularly love using Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Level 1 of the Gottman Method—but I do not limit myself to these. I see myself as a co-laborer and companion with all my clients—I aim to do my best to walk with my clients and help them accomplish their goals! I offer gentle challenges, as well as provide reframes, validation, and encouragement. I have worked with a range of clients, presenting with different concerns, from anxiety and depression to emotional control to improving communication skills to having a strong sense of self. My clients are my priority and I put their needs first. I am communicative and I believe proper communication is foundational to any successful relationship. My passion is to work with couples and help equip them to continue to have fruitful marriages.
I am a lifelong learner and I believe that as much as I am trying to help my clients, I am also learning from them. I chose to be a therapist because, at my core, I am a helper; I want to continue to help those I come in contact with to grow in different ways. I love what I do and I look forward to growing with you!
