Dena Driscoll, LICSW
Dena Driscoll is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), and received her undergraduate degree in social work from Wheelock College and her graduate degree in social work from the University of New Hampshire. Dena is a provider with over twenty years of experience working in the Boston area in a variety of settings. She provides therapy services for children, young adults, individuals, and families using an integrated approach that is tailored to the unique needs of each new client. Areas of expertise for therapy include:
- Children and adolescents with behavioral and mood issues
- Anxiety and depression
- Phase-of-life changes, grief, and loss
- Life stresses and next steps

Dena believes therapy should be goal-orientated and solution focused. Dena’s approach uses both cognitive behavioral therapy and psycho-dynamic therapy. Dena develops individual treatment plans with her clients based on the individual’s needs and goals. Dena combines her experience, education and a sense of humor with a down to earth, realistic approach to counseling. Dena also provides clinical supervision to social workers needing to obtain supervision hours towards their licensure.
